WE ARE A GREEN SANCTUARY ACCREDITED CONGREGATION. Intentions with Green Sanctuary for May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society focus on four themes:  Sustainable Living, Worship and Celebration, Religious Education, and Environmental Justice.  The project goals and involvements include:

• a commitment to at least three environmentally-centered services,
• a team of volunteers that participate in workdays for local environmental organizations,
• our Religious Education curriculum and intergenerational services that have an environmental justice focus,
• congregational commitment opportunities to personalize climate justice action plans,
• participation in the Central New York Sanctuary Coalition and
• the Carbon Fee/Dividend Initiative.
